Honestly, I could not care how many times I stumble, fall or fail, as long as I can get back up, I’ll keep trying my best to move forward… I thrive on the challenge, not to disprove you, but for no other reason other than to show myself it can be done.
Well listen up, I am the exception to the rule, you tell me it can’t be done and I will show you otherwise. I am pretty sure somebody I know might be thinking, “Hey Mike, you are getting older and probably can’t put as much stress on your body, you can’t lift as heavy, can’t run as fast, etc…”. Yesterday my shoulders and other muscles were fairly smoked from this weeks workouts… I say workouts, because I have been making it a habit now of doing two workouts a day, pretty much back to back with maybe a 15 to 20 minute recovery window between workouts.Īt the time I started writing this, my thought was “I need enough snow and ice just to lay down in for a while or maybe I can just sew some ice packs into a into a mattress”, interestingly enough giving myself a “rest day” really helped out.
